Alaska Women Ascend is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization that provides comprehensive training for progressive women from diverse communities to win public office.

 
 
 

Run Vote Win Training

Alaska Women Ascend is currently accepting applications to participate in an eight-month "Get Elected" training program designed for progressive women of all ages who are interested in learning more about running for public office, managing a campaign, or being a campaign treasurer. The application period for the 2019/2020 training has closed.

 
 

Our Impact

Alaska Women Ascend has trained women to run for local, state, and statewide office. Many of our AWA participants are either running for office, managing campaigns, acting as treasurers for campaigns or supporting women candidates in a variety of ways. We have completed two rounds of trainings and trained about 130 women across the state.
